Modifying Your Secret Questions

You can change your secret questions and answers any time. For that:

  1. Open the Self-Service Portal home page and click the Re-Enroll link.
  2. On the page that opens, type your user name and your password. Click Next.
  3. On the confirmation page that opens, click Next again to modify the questions.
  4. Choose identity verification questions and type answers for them.
  5. Click Next to finish the wizard.

Identity verification questions are used when you want to retrieve your password. They also provide an additional identity protection level. You can select a predefined question or specify your own.

NOTE: the custom questions creation can be unavailable if disabled by your administrator.

Please follow these guidelines on picking reliable, guess-proof answers:

  • Must not be obvious;
  • Should preferably not be known by any other parties;
  • Must be at least 10 characters long.

If you want to hide your input while you are typing, select the Hide answers option. This will hide your input with password characters and an additional confirmation text box will appear for each answer.
